City officials and developers held a ribbon-cutting Thursday for a large-scale apartment project on East Franklin Turnpike.
Each unit features 9-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, balconies or porches and kitchen islands with breakfast bars, according to the news release.
A second phase will add 105 more apartments to the community, further expanding Danville’s market-rate housing options.
The city supported the project with real estate tax and residential grants from the Danville Industrial Development Authority.
